Academy of Languages CEO Deborah Brinksman announced today the return of the Academy's Tourist Language Classes. "These classes are for the person who is planning a trip in the near future, and wants to know enough of the language to "get by." The emphasis is on situations where the person would be confronted by a native speaker with no English. Examples are Immigration Officers, Customs, taxi drivers, police officers, hotel employees, or just the "man on the street" when you need directions." "The Academy is offering classes in French, Spanish, Italian and German covering all the basics -- again with an emphasis on hearing and practicing the most commonly needed phrases."
